Students

What is a Student on Boonle?
A Student on Boonle is a freelancer.

What are levels?
Levels show others how well you’re doing within Boonle - think of it as a credibility score. You want to achieve the highest level as it will allow you the opportunity to gain access to our VIP area.

How do I level up?
To achieve higher levels, you must continue completing projects, produce quality work, and receive appreciations from Clients. The best way to hit this criteria is to produce the best quality work you can for Clients in a professional and timely manner. Here are some tips to get started.

How do I get paid?
As a Student, you have the opportunity to receive monetary compensation each time you complete a project. Some projects will have a dollar amount attached to it and indicates how much the Client is willing to pay for that specific project. Projects that have a "FREE" ribbon attached to it do not guarantee payment. However, with 'free' projects, Clients are prompted with suggested tip amounts based on the project category.  In any payment scenario, 70% of the total payment amount is added to your Boonle account (Boonle takes 30% which includes transaction and withdraw fees by PayPal). See an example.

Clients

What is a Client on Boonle?
A Client on Boonle is someone who requests the help of a Student on a design project.

How much does it cost to post a project?
Posting a project is absolutely free!

How much should I pay for a project?
This is entirely up to you as Boonle operates on a pay-what-you-want model. However, higher payments tend to attract a greater response from Boonle Students. If you set an amount for a project and receive no response, try increasing the amount that you are willing to pay.

Payments

How are payments handled?
Payments are handled securely through PayPal.

What fees does Boonle charge?
Boonle takes 30% of the total tip amount given per project. This fee covers our costs as well as any PayPal fees associated with using PayPal to handle transactions (PayPal fees include 2.9% +$0.30 per transaction plus 2% for withdrawing funds). You are not required to assume any fees outside of the 30% Boonle fee.
